I have always loved stories where the monster is the protagonist, and that is where the idea for this sprung from. A sad little thing, I'll admit, but to be fair to the humans in this, I think it would work the other way around as well.

Since Hunter is so short, I thought I would post this fairly soon after (being that this is also very short). New story will be out next Monday...

You can also find this in my Short Stories book at my Big Cartel Store

Hunter is another sketchbook comic that I decided to turn into a fully fleshed out finish. It also appears in my "Short Stories" book, available at my Big Cartel Store.

I started this one right before the death of one of my favorite comic artists, Moebius. It seemed like a fitting addition to my short stories book, since I have been enamored with the worlds he created for a long time. I fully expect these two to return in another adventure...

The Story of Cruel Fredrick

Just to get the blog moving, I thought I would post this vintage piece that appeared once upon a time in the Philadelphia Cartoonist Society 2nd anthology back in the long ago days of 2006. So, this is old, and I think, one of the first honest to God complete comics I had done up to that point. I actually always hoped to go into children's illustration when I was in school, but comics just sort of happened to me, which I am fairly glad for.

This is silent 5 page comic is based off of Cruel Fredrick from Struwwelpeter by Heinrich Hoffman.

This is one of the stories that I have in my "Short Stories" book, available at my Big Cartel Store. I've been debating for a while whether or not to post my shorter comics online, and I thought I would go ahaead and make it a little goal for myself to get up a mini comic/month in-between my hectic work schedule.

So I hope you like them! Expect another in a week, for the next 5 weeks, and then I will be posting them once a month so I'm not digging too far back in my catalogue.

As for this story, Cup-O-Noodles began as a doodle in my sketchbook. Initially i had intended for the ramen monster to return at a later date, but we'll see if I ever get to that silly tale. Maybe this blog will give me a good excuse to do that.
